Sunday was the Norton Common race in Louisville, KY. It was a 6 turn course in about .8 miles. There were several more riders at this race including the Nuvo team from Indianapolis. John Jacobs, Rob Bush and Greg Strock showed up for TRH in addition to the others from yesterday’s Race.
 
The pace was high from the start and at about 15 minutes in a big group of 12 got clear with 5 TRH guys. This was a good move with Kevin Atkisson, John Grant. John Jacobs Greg Strock and Andrew Llewellyn The group went around and was approaching the back of the field so the officials decided to sprint the field early since all of the money spots were up the road. Not a real popular decision but that’s their job. The break set up for the sprint and Rolf attacked on the backstretch. Adam from Nuvo was 2nd going into the last 2 turns with Kevin 3rd & John 4th. It is a long sprint so they were in the perfect spot. The guy in 2nd crashed between the last & next to last turn causing the rest to slow to avoid him. Rolf got a gap and held on narrowly for the win. Kevin and John were closing but had to settle for 2nd and 3rd place.
